Basketball Recap: Worland Takes a Loss

Worland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 69-38 loss at the hands of the Powell Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Panthers are ranked seventh).

Worland's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Powell, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Worland has already played their next game (against Lovell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Powell, they will take on Lyman at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Powell has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
