Basketball Game Preview: Chaminade Red Devils vs. Kenwood Broncos

The Chaminade Red Devils will head out on the road to take on the Kenwood Broncos at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Chaminade is headed into the match having just posted their biggest win since February 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They blew past St. Louis University 69-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Kenwood had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Sunday. They walked away with a 61-51 victory over the Hawks. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Hawks are ranked 127th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chaminade's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Kenwood, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1.
