Volleyball Recap: Model Secondary School for the Deaf Gets the Win

Model Secondary School for the Deaf won the last time they faced Don Bosco Cristo Rey and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Wolfpack by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Don Bosco Cristo Rey between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

Starla Baskin paced Model Secondary School for the Deaf's offense, picking up five kills. Baskin got some help from Talia Willey-Saunders and her four assists. Matilde Mansfield controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.
