Volleyball Recap: Boscobel Takes a Loss

Boscobel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverdale Chieftains. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Chieftains this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in September.

Boscobel's offense was headlined by Addison Rounds and Maya Baumeister, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Kylee Johnson and her seven assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Boscobel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-26. As for Riverdale, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 13-17.

Boscobel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Darlington on the 14th. As for Riverdale, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Iowa-Grant on the 14th.
