Soccer Recap: Norco Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Norco couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Calabasas Coyotes who were credited with the win on Saturday. The Calabasas Coyotes got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Norco Cougars' three.

Norco's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Calabasas, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Norco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calabasas, they will square off against Jurupa Hills at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.
