Soccer Recap: West Rowan Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Rowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Rowan Raiders. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of four yellow cards before it was all over.

West Rowan's goal came courtesy of Nathan Silva, who's now up to two this season.

West Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for South Rowan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10-1.

West Rowan wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Salisbury on the 6th. As for South Rowan, they will head out to square off against Carson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
