Recap: Marvin Ridge Mavericks vs. Stuart W. Cramer Storm
There's no place like home for the Marvin Ridge Mavericks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Stuart W. Cramer 61-25 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-9.
Leading Marvin Ridge to victory were Josh Clark and Brady Dunn. Clark scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists, while Dunn scored 9 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals. Marshall Payne was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Despite the defeat, Stuart W. Cramer saw an underclassman step up: Makhi Brown scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Darius Sykes, who scored 4 points along with 5 rebounds.
Marvin Ridge now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
