It was a good run, but Hammond unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Assumption Mustangs.

Hammond's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Assumption, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Hammond wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Salmen on the 29th. Assumption has also already played their next match (against St. John), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
