Each year since 2006, MaxPreps has recognized outstanding performers in prep basketball. America's source for high school sports continues the tradition to close out the 2023-24 season by naming the top player in each state. Selections are based on team success and individual excellence in addition to local and state accolades.

Elijah Crawford of Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro) is the 2023-24 New Hampshire MaxPreps Player of the Year. The 6-foot-2 senior guard led the Bobcats to a 27-7 record.

For the season, Crawford averaged 13.5 points, 5.1 assists and 4.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 52.7 percent from the field, 48.8 percent from 3-point range and 83.1 percent from the free throw line.
