Wiregrass Ranch has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Forest Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Wiregrass Ranch got the win against the Eagles by a conclusive 49-27.

Claire Kelley was nothing short of spectacular: she scored 14 points along with five assists and five steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Anabella Nieves, who scored eight points along with three steals.

Meanwhile, Forest scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They snuck past Seven Rivers Christian with a 82-76 win. The win was familiar territory for Forest who now have four in a row.

Forest relied on the efforts of Taleah Jones, who scored 21 points along with five steals, and Ja'Niyah McCoy, who scored 25 points along with three steals. McCoy hasn't dropped below 16 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Johns, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.

Wiregrass Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Wiregrass Ranch have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.7 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Forest struggles in that department as they've been averaging 22.6 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
