Volleyball Recap: Holy Names Takes a Loss

Holy Names was the 3-0 winner over Emery when they last played one another back in September of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Monarchs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans on Wednesday.

Holy Names dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Emery, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Holy Names will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Quarry Lane at 4:45 p.m. As for Emery, they will head out on the road to square off against Urban at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
