Basketball Recap: Diamond Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Diamond faced off against Skyline on Monday. The Diamond Wildcats were dealt a 60-28 loss at the hands of the Skyline Tigers. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Diamond's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Skyline, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Diamond will head out to take on Springfield Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Skyline, they are taking a road trip to challenge Sarcoxie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
