High Tech CV extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 13 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-12. They lost 12-1 to the Ocean View Christian Patriots. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Bruins couldn't push the score so high this time.
High Tech CV saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Estrada, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
As for Ocean View Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4. Considering they have won four games by more than ten runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
On Ocean View Christian's side, Sean Neff was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Neff has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Parker Broersma was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Cruz Pamintuan, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
High Tech CV wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 loss against Mountain Empire on the 28th. As for Ocean View Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-4 defeat against Liberty Charter on the 27th.
