Volleyball Recap: Wellington Snags 14th Victory in Last 17 Games + How To Watch

Rose Hill typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Wellington proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rockets. This was a revenge game for the Crusaders: when they faced off against the Rockets on September 9th, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Wellington easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15.

Leading Wellington to victory were Blyss Johnson and Mikayla Ybarra. Johnson had 15 digs and one assist, while Ybarra had seven digs. That's the most digs Ybarra has posted over her last six matches.

Wellington has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Rose Hill, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-11.
