Basketball Recap: Wasatch Has No Trouble Against Spanish Fork

Wasatch won the last time they faced Spanish Fork and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Wasatch Wasps' way against the Spanish Fork Dons as the Wasatch Wasps made off with a 52-28 victory. The Wasps have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Peyton Behnke was her usual excellent self, going 8 of 16 on her way to 26 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Filifaiesea Liava'A, who posted six points and five rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Wasatch and bumps their season record up to 10-2. As for Spanish Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Wasatch will venture away from home to square off against Salem Hills at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Salem Hills has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Spanish Fork, they will welcome Cedar Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
