Volleyball Recap: Andrew Jackson Takes a Loss

Andrew Jackson lost against North Central back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Volunteers lost 3-0 to the Knights. The Volunteers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-15.

Trinity Delly paced Andrew Jackson's offense, picking up eight kills. Delly got some help from Haylei Boatwright and her nine assists. Boatwright was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Andrew Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for North Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3-1 record this season.

Andrew Jackson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mountain View Prep on the 11th. As for North Central, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Chesterfield on the 14th.
