Knoxville A extends road losing streak to three

The Knoxville A Ambassadors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Berean Christian by a score of 64-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Leading Berean Christian to victory were Connor Copeland and Deonte Smith. Copeland scored 21 points, while Smith scored 29 points. Copeland continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Knoxville A bumped their record down to 6-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Berean Christian, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.

Knoxville A will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Apostolic Christian at 7:30 p.m. Berean Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Apostolic Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. Apostolic Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
