After flying high against Forney on Tuesday, Rockwall-Heath came back down to earth. The Hawks fell just short of the North Forney Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Rockwall-Heath couldn't get the win, but they sure gave North Forney a tough time in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 28-30, 25-18, 19-25, 15-6.

Rockwall-Heath's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 16-10. As for North Forney, their record now sits at 25-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rockwall-Heath is set to challenge their familiar foe Rockwall at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Yellowjackets a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. Meanwhile, North Forney will square off against rival Longview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
