Volleyball Recap: Poteet Comes Up Short

Poteet saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Hereford Whitefaces. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hereford got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyndall Valdez out in front who had 15 digs and three assists. Kaydence Ramirez was another key player, getting nine digs and two aces.

Poteet's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Hereford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Coming up, Poteet will be taking part in a tournament against Farmersville at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hereford, they are on the road again on Friday to play Vega at 3:30 p.m.
