Volleyball Recap: South Central Timberwolves vs. Bucklin Red Aces

South Central lost against Bucklin last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Red Aces by a score of 2-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Timberwolves' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, South Central sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 17-25, 25-22.
South Central has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season. As for Bucklin, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-9.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. South Central will take on rival Ashland on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bucklin is set to challenge their familiar foe Hodgeman County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
