After a string of seven wins, Central's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lamar County Trojans. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Lamar County, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Westside on the 11th. After both having extra time off, Lamar County and the Hawks will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
