Basketball Recap: Bishop McGuinness Find Success

On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish beat the Ada Cougars 45-40.

Despite the defeat, Ada saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ava Campos went 7 for 14 en route to 21 points and eight boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Campos has scored all season.

The victory got Bishop McGuinness back to even at 7-7. As for Ada, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-6.

Bishop McGuinness has already played their next match, a 60-52 defeat against Holland Hall on the 23rd. As for Ada, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 79-4 win against Marshall on the 23rd.
