Recap: Grand Meadow Superlarks vs. Mabel-Canton Cougars
This season hasn't been kind to the Grand Meadow Superlarks, who are still winless after their fourth match. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 74-49 walloping at the hands of Mabel-Canton on Thursday. Grand Meadow has struggled against Mabel-Canton recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Cayden Tollefsrud continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mabel-Canton, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Tollefsrud's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Tyler Larson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Grand Meadow's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Mabel-Canton, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Houston the next time they take the court. Grand Meadow will host Houston at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Mabel-Canton will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
