Softball Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss

Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Northside Christian Warriors, falling 18-3. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Northside Christian, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Fairview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-8 loss against Lacassine on the 28th. As for Northside Christian, they will take on Beau Chene at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Gators' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
