Oskaloosa piles up the points against Atchison County

The Oskaloosa Bears scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Atchison County 68-33 on the road. With that win, Oskaloosa brought their scoring average up to 52.4 points per game.
Trenten VanHoutan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 37 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Oskaloosa's points. Another player making a difference was Gunner Rockhold, who scored 11 points along with five assists.
Oskaloosa now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Atchison County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oskaloosa will take on Jackson Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson Heights will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Atchison County, they will head out on the road to face off against Jefferson County North on Tuesday. Jefferson County North presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Atchison County in Kansas (Jefferson County North is ranked 107th, while Atchison County is ranked 354th).
