Volleyball Recap: Union County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Union County duked it out with Loganville Christian Academy on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Reese Jones paced Union County's offense, picking up eight kills. Jones got some help from Kamryn Brown and her 13 assists. Amie Sauers controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Loganville Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-8 record this season.

Union County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Cedar Grove on the 20th. As for Loganville Christian Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Lumpkin County on the 20th.
