Softball Recap: Banks Braves vs. Corbett Cardinals

Banks can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They never let the Corbett Cardinals onto the board and left with a 12-0 victory. 12 seems to be a good number for Banks as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Naomi Brown was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Brown was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Brooklynn Robinson was incredible, going 4-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. Khloe Long was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

Banks pushed their record up to 10-7 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Corbett, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Banks does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Corbett, they will play host again on Thursday to welcome Warrenton, where first pitch is scheduled at 3:00 p.m.
