Basketball Game Preview: Paideia Pythons vs. Westminster Wildcats

The Paideia Pythons will venture away from home to face off against the Westminster Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Paideia is headed into the match having just posted their biggest win since November 19, 2024 on Friday. They breezed by Walker to the tune of 46-17. The Pythons didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westminster). They claimed a resounding 69-17 win over Centennial. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their five-point performance the game before.

Paideia's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Westminster, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Paideia came up short against Westminster when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 38-26. Can Paideia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
