Softball Game Preview: Indiana Little Indians vs. Freeport Yellowjackets

The Indiana Little Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Freeport Yellowjackets at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Indiana nor Freeport posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Indiana is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Knoch just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights.

Meanwhile, Freeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Highlands, falling 10-0.

Indiana's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Freeport, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Indiana beat Freeport 4-1 in their previous meeting last Friday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Little Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
