Regents suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Regents Knights vs. San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool

The Regents Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They lost to San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool at home by a decisive 76-58 margin. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Micah Kidney, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Schott, who scored 14 points along with five assists.

Regents bumped their record down to 14-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Cornerstone Christian the next time they take the court. Regents will head out to face Cornerstone Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, while San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 2nd.
