Shelton's win ends three-game losing streak at home

The Shelton Chargers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against All Saints Episcopal by a score of 62-52. The win was just what Shelton needed coming off of a 64-39 defeat in their prior matchup.

All Saints Episcopal's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Caz Franks, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds, and Emerson Hadnot who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 assists. That was a full 44.2% of All Saints Episcopal's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Shelton's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-12. As for All Saints Episcopal, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

Shelton will head out on the road to take on Dallas Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Dallas Christian is ranked 785th, while Shelton is ranked 765th). As for All Saints Episcopal, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Prince of Peace at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Prince of Peace is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
