If Lakeland wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Old Forge, they should've done a better job of containing Logan Fanning. The Blue Devils skirted past the Chiefs 54-51 thanks in part to Fanning, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was his sixth in a row with at least 15 points.

Lakeland lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Chase Rosenkrans, who posted 17 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of David Naniewicz, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds.

Old Forge's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Lakeland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Old Forge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-36 win against Western Wayne on the 2nd. As for Lakeland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 73-61 victory against Honesdale on the 31st.
