Football Game Preview: Cheraw Braves vs. North Central Knights + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the Cheraw Braves and the North Central Knights will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cheraw has given up an average of 26.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cheraw managed to slip by Andrew Jackson the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Braves came up short against the Volunteers last Friday, falling 41-17. The Braves' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Justyn Joint, who rushed for 109 yards on only 12 carries.

Meanwhile, North Central slipped by Chesterfield 8-7 last Friday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Golden Rams: they've now won three in a row.

North Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Cheraw, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Cheraw against North Central in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 28-0 win. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
