Basketball Recap: Kongiganak Comes Up Short

Kongiganak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Chief Paul Memorial Falcons 73-22. The Wolverines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-12.

Kongiganak lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Carol Phillip, who posted eight points.

Kongiganak's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Chief Paul Memorial, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

As of now, neither Kongiganak nor Chief Paul Memorial have any future games scheduled.
