Volleyball Recap: Young Americans Christian Triumphs

After losing to Trinity Christian School of Griffin the last time they met, Young Americans Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the LIONS on Monday.

Young Americans Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-15, 30-28, 25-11.

The win got Young Americans Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Young Americans Christian will take on Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, they will face off against Konos Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
