Recap: Shenendehowa Plainsmen vs. Green Tech Eagles
The Shenendehowa Plainsmen fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Green Tech Eagles on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 60-54 defeat to they. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Green Tech apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Ramere Brown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Green Tech, scoring 15 points. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Olivan Owens, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds.
Shenendehowa has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Green Tech, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4.
Shenendehowa will head out on the road to face off against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Green Tech, they will be playing at home against Our Lady of Lourdes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
