Recap: Sheridan Rams vs. Estes Park Bobcats
The Sheridan Rams had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 33-25 win over Estes Park on Saturday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Sheridan has managed all season.
Natalia Marquez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for her. Melissa Marquez was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Sheridan's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Estes Park, their defeat was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1.
Sheridan will take on Girls Athletic Leadership School - Denver at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Estes Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
