The Father Lopez Green Wave are taking a road trip to challenge the Bishop Snyder Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Father Lopez is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Father Lopez came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Orangewood Christian by a score of 6-4 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Green Wave have suffered since February 26th.

Meanwhile, Bishop Snyder had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 6-3 win over Suwannee on Wednesday.

Cody Boshell made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Tripp Hannah was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. Cole Dennis was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double.

Father Lopez's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Bishop Snyder, their record now sits at 9-5.
