Softball Recap: C.H. Yoe Wins Going Away Against Brazos Christian

On Tuesday, everything went the C.H. Yoe Yoemen's way against the Brazos Christian Eagles as the C.H. Yoe Yoemen made off with a 16-4 win. Considering the Yoemen have won four matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jimena Flores was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (four). Another player making a difference was Josie Laureano, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

C.H. Yoe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .577. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brazos Christian only posted a batting average of .294.

The victory got C.H. Yoe back to even at 4-4. As for Brazos Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, C.H. Yoe will head out to face off against Huntsville at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. C.H. Yoe is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1 runs per game this season. As for Brazos Christian, they will welcome Texas School for the Deaf at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
