Volleyball Game Preview: Park Hill South Panthers vs. St. Michael the Archangel Guardians

The Park Hill South Panthers will face off against the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Park Hill South is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Oak Park just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Northmen.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, St. Michael the Archangel entered their tilt with Lee's Summit on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The win didn't come easy: Lee's Summit scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 25-23.

St. Michael the Archangel's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Park Hill South, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
