There's no place like home for Faith Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against the Dayspring Christian Academy Lions on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

While Faith Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-15, 25-18.

Faith Christian found their leader in sophomore Rebecca Kauffman, who had six digs and five aces.

Faith Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Faith Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Faith Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, after both having extra time off, they and Timberlake Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
