Softball Recap: Wednesday's Defeat Ends Tecumseh's Winning Streak

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Tecumseh finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bedford Kicking Mules. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Emma Eldred was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run.

With the loss, Tecumseh broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-6. As for Bedford, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tecumseh will head out to face off against Dexter at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bedford, they will venture away from home to square off against Dundee at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
