Highland has gone a perfect 10-0 against Civic Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m.

Highland came up short against Nashville on Tuesday, falling 9-3.

Highland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Mehrtens, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Civic Memorial took on Gibault Catholic on Tuesday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Hawks 3-2.

Highland's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9. As for Civic Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13.

Highland took their win against Civic Memorial in their previous meeting on Monday by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
