Recap: Wilcox Central Jaguars vs. Prattville Christian Academy Panthers
The Wilcox Central Jaguars waltzed into their game on Wednesday with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They came out on top against Prattville Christian Academy by a score of 56-43. That's another feather in the cap for Wilcox Central, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wilcox Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamarius Packer, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Packer hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Ronald Harris, who scored 12 points.
Wilcox Central's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Prattville Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 15-14.
