Baseball Recap: Knight's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Knight lost against Highland back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Knight Hawks fell 6-2 to the Highland Bulldogs. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Knight saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Tiznado, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave Tiznado a new career-high. Santiago Mendoza also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Knight's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Highland, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

While Knight had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
