Volleyball Recap: Silsbee Takes a Loss

Silsbee's tournament run continued when they took on Mumford on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Silsbee's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Mumford, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Silsbee is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Hardin-Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mumford, they will host Navasota at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
