Softball Recap: King Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for King's offense. They came up short against the Incarnate Word Academy Angels on Monday, falling 10-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Angels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

King's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Incarnate Word Academy, their win bumped their record up to 13-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King will face off against Miller at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Miller has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.88 runs per game on average), something King will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they will challenge Holy Cross at 4:00 p.m. on March 18th.
