Baseball Recap: Nova Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Nova Classical Academy came into this matchup off a tough eight-run loss on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the St. Croix Prep Lions by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Nova Classical Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Williams, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Nova Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for St. Croix Prep, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nova Classical Academy will head out to take on New Life Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Croix Prep, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Croix Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
