Volleyball Recap: Alma Takes Down Superior in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Alma had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Superior Wildcats on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Tierston Moore paced Alma's offense, picking up 12 kills. Moore got some help from Kamryn Scott and her 17 assists. Finally, Moore was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Alma's victory bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Superior, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-26.

Alma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Centura on the 28th. Superior does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
