            Volleyball Recap: Wachusett Regional Mountaineers vs. Millbury Woolies        
        
		
        
        
            Wachusett Regional won the last time they faced Millbury and things went their way  on Monday too. The Mountaineers blew past the Woolies 3-0. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Mountaineers.
 Wachusett Regional walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20,  25-13.

Wachusett Regional's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Grace Coppolino, who  had 13 assists and six  digs. Coppolino is  crushing it when it comes to  assists: she's   posted at least 13 every time she's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ari Catalfamo, who  had 12  digs and three  aces.
 Wachusett Regional  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 20 consecutive  contests  dating back to last season.
 Despite the  loss, Millbury saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Brooke Dwyer  had 14  digs.  Lyla Alves also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Wachusett Regional's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Millbury,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-6.
 Wachusett Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-1  victory against Groton-Dunstable on the 24th. As for Millbury, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  defeat against Hopedale on the 24th.
